My mission is to help women feel amazing in their own skin, know that they are good enough in every way and have the confidence to step up and fulfill their life goals and dreams.
I am passionate about women taking back control of their relationship with food and their bodies so they can embrace life fully today and not at some point in the future.
My style of coaching is entirely focused on what you want to work on. Whilst body image and a history of dieting often go hand in hand, it might be that one is more of a concern for you than the other. They may come up together in our sessions and we can then delve deeper when needed.

Body Image
You may have often heard or seen on social media the quest of loving your body. That isn’t really the goal in body image coaching though.
Pursuing the perfect body can sap your time, energy and head space which may well have stopped you fully living your life. It certainly did for me.
My aim is to help you appreciate the role your body does and be completely neutral about your body. What your body looks like – or rather, your perception of what your body looks like – is not the most interesting thing about you. Your negative body thoughts are less to do with your body and more to do with the messages we get from society about what the “perfect” body “should “ look like. The number on the scale or on the label in your jeans does not define you or give any indication of how fabulous you actually are.
What is Intuitive Eating?
I’ll start with what it’s not – it’s not another diet and it’s not about recklessly eating all the foods you have ever craved but been deprived off when you have been on past diets or eating “lifestyles”. Come on, I know you’ve heard the “It’s not a diet, it’s a lifestyle” mantra loved on social media. Have you ever said that? I know I have – I spent many years repeating that and then realised my lifestyle was in fact another diet.
During our coaching sessions we explore the diet rules you have had in the past. If you have a history of dieting it might mean quite a lots of rules from different diets of which some contradict each other. Confusing for you or what?! All this external messaging has meant we have tuned out our own body signals such as hunger, fullness and cravings. Maybe, you now don’t really know what eating “normally” actually consists of anymore.
Put simply, the founders of Intuitive Eating with whom I trained with, feel that the main purpose of Intuitive Eating is to cultivate a health relationship with food, mind and body. The focus is not on body size but rather healing tour own relationship with food. (Tribole and Resch).


Personal Training for Women
With over 20 years of experience as a personal trainer I specialise in training women - whether you are pre/post-natal, recovering after injury or just don't know how to move your body in the best way for you. Movement or exercise can be a great way to realise how amazing your body is and appreciate what it can do. Exercise is a natural way to increase energy, reduce stress, and keep our bodies healthy. It can and should be fun.
Please note that I am a body-positive personal trainer and do not take on clients with weight loss goals. I have limited space for PT clients so please contact me to go onto my waiting list.
